The Peninsula Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Vasquez Mustangs to 8 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Peninsula improves its record to 2-14 on the year. The Panthers travel to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, April 1. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 4-8. Mira Costa lost 5-3 in their recent league game against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA)
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 28. Vasquez will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Grizzlies come into the game with a 2-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Valencia (Valencia, CA).
