The Perkins Pirates routed the host Port Clinton Redskins softball squad by a final score of 20-3 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH). The Truckers go into the Sandusky Bay - Lake battle with a 0-4 record.
