In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Briar Woods Falcons baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Lower Merion Aces.
The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Ram go into the Potomac game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Riverside by Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH), 9-0, in a non-league game.
The Aces (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Haverford (Havertown, PA). The Fords go into the Central game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Haverford by Ridley (Folsom, PA), 3-2, in a league game.
