California High School Baseball - Coastal Academy wallops Temecula Prep

March 27, 2024: Oceanside, CA 92056

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA) and the visiting Temecula Prep Patriots (Winchester, CA), saw Coastal Academy's baseball squad knock off Temecula Prep by a count of 13-1.

Coming up next, the Stingrays play the Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) in a Pacific battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Coastal Academy will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Firebirds enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA).

The Patriots now possess a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host California Military Institute for a South Valley battle on Saturday, March 30. Temecula Prep will play a Rough Riders squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Desert Christian Academy (Bermuda Dunes, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 0-4.
