The Fisher Catholic Irish baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Meigs Marauders to 6 in the Irish non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Irish (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH). The Bishops go into the Mid-State - Cardinal match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Bishop Rosecrans tipped Granville Christian Academy (Granville, OH), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Marauders (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Warren (Vincent, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Warren was edged by John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV), 7-3, in a non-league match.
