In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Reno Huskies baseball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Victor Valley Jackrabbits.
The Huskies (8-4) will now prepare for their game against De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, De La Salle tipped Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 9-4, in a non-league game.
The Jackrabbits (6-13) will now prepare for their game against Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Canyon Springs by Claremont (Claremont, CA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
