The Mauldin Mavericks lacrosse squad (Mauldin, SC), was edged 8-6 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC)

Coming up next, the Patriots meet the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, April 2. J.L. Mann will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 17-3 non-league loss to Riverside (Greer, SC).
