The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Marysville Monarchs (Marysville, OH), saw Laney's lacrosse team top Marysville by a margin of 21-1.
The Buccaneers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings enter the Mideastern challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Hoggard was overwhelmed by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 16-5, in a league challenge.
The Monarchs (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Olentangy Berlin (Delaware, OH). The Bears enter the Region 1 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Olentangy Berlin beat Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH), 14-1, in a league challenge.
