In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Tallmadge Blue Devils (Tallmadge, OH) softball team held off the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Tallmadge moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Revere (Richfield, OH) to play the Minutemen in a Suburban - American contest on Monday, April 1. The Minutemen come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
