Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 27-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gardendale for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Thompson will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Moody (Moody, AL). The Rockets record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Chilton County falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL) to battle the Mustangs in a 6A Area 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-7.
