Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Lemont HS now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Huntley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Lemont will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 13-7 non-league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Evergreen Park falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Reavis (Burbank, IL) to face the Rams in a South Suburban challenge on Monday, April 1. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Reavis lost 14-13 in their recent non-league challenge against De La Salle (Chicago, IL)
