Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon del Oro for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. Sunnyside will face a Dorados squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Flowing Wells falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Caballeros host Pueblo (Tucson, AZ) to face the Warriors in a 4A Kino challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 8-7. Pueblo won 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ)
