Alabama High School Softball - Thompson nudges Houston Academy

Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 27-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuscaloosa County for a 7A Area 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 2.
With the loss, Houston Academy falls to 16-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Dale County (Midland City, AL) to battle the Warriors in a 4A Area 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 7-12.
