In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) softball team the visiting Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH), by a margin of 4-0.

With the triumph, Lancaster moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Golden Gales host Lincoln (Gahanna, OH) to play the Golden Lions in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 28. The Golden Lions come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Lincoln lost 11-5 in their recent non-league contest against Hilliard Bradley (Hilliard, OH)
