In Wednesday's league outing, the host St. James Saints softball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm.

Coming up next, the Saints battle the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a Cumberland Valley outing, on Thursday, March 28. St. James will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Sentinels enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Keyser (Keyser, WV).
