In Wednesday's league contest, the Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Pearl River moves its record to 6-15 on the year. The Rebels travel to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to play the Comets in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 4. The Comets come into the contest with a record of 15-5.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 28. Salmen will attempt to move on its 1-17 season record.
