The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR) and the visiting Monticello Billies (Monticello, AR), saw Batesville's baseball team get by Monticello by a tally of 12-11.

The Pioneers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against White Hall (White Hall, AR). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, White Hall was tipped by Arkansas (Texarkana, AR), 9-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Billies face the Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 27. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Northside (Fort Smith, AR).
