The Cardinals now hold a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Strayhorn for a 1A Region 3 test on Friday, March 28. Potts Camp will play a Mustangs team coming off a 16-0 league win over Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-8.

With the defeat, Byers drops to 0-9 on the year. The Lions host Ashland (Ashland, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a 1A Region 2 test on Friday, April 4. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 0-7. Ashland lost 13-0 in their recent league test against Myrtle (Myrtle, MS)
