The Chester Yellowjackets baseball squad (Chester, IL), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host DuQuoin Indians (DuQuoin, IL)

With the triumph, DuQuoin moves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Indians host Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 3-2. Civic Memorial won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL)

The Yellowjackets now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankfort for a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. Chester will confront a Redbirds squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 1-5.
