In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Northwest Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 24-0 win over the Crest Ridge Cougars.
The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Appleton City (Appleton City, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Appleton City was overwhelmed by Archie (Archie, MO), 12-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cougars play the Ruskin Golden Eagles (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 28. Crest Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a 0-4 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to Van Horn (Independence, MO).
