The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Dodson Panthers (Dodson, LA) and the visiting Summerfield Rebels (Summerfield, LA), saw Dodson's baseball team gain a win over Summerfield by a tally of 13-5.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Winnfield (Winnfield, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Winnfield was overwhelmed by Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA), 13-7, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 28. Summerfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record.
