North Carolina High School Baseball - Highland Tech held off by Kings Mountain

The Highland Tech Rams baseball squad (Gastonia, NC), 4-2 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC)

With the triumph, Kings Mountain moves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to North Gaston (Dallas, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Big South 3A contest on Friday, March 28. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 6-3. North Gaston won 5-1 in their recent league contest against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC)

The Rams now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherryville for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, April 1. Highland Tech will confront a Ironmen squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 9-4.
