The Houston Tigers baseball team scored 25 runs and held the visiting Newburg Wolves to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.

The Tigers now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seymour for a Class 3 District 11 test on Monday, March 31. Houston will play a Tigers team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Newburg drops to 0-4 on the year. The Wolves travel to Plato (Plato, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-2.
