In Thursday's league bout, the Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE), by a tally of 12-2.
Next up, the Indians encounter the Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Indian River will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Royals enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Christiana (Newark, DE).
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Caravel (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Caravel overcame Odessa (Townsend, DE), 7-0, in a non-league bout.
