In Thursday's non-league bout, the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) baseball squad the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), by a tally of 5-3.
Next up, the Wildcats encounter the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Lake Norman will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 8-4 record after their 11-10 league loss to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
The Raiders (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons enter the South Piedmont 3A bout with a 11-3 record. In their last bout, West Rowan edged Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 11-7, in a non-league bout.
