In Thursday's non-league game, the host Marmion Cadets baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Marquette Crusaders.
The Cadets (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Enderlin (Enderlin, ND). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Crusaders play the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 29. Marquette will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Chiefs go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, IL).
