The Meade County Green Waves baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting North Oldham Mustangs to 5 in the Green Waves non-league win on Thursday.

The Green Waves now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Cross for a non-league test on Sunday, March 30. Meade County will play a Cougars team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, North Oldham drops to 3-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH) to play the Bruins in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 1-0. Padua Franciscan won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Normandy (Parma, OH)
