Illinois High School Baseball - Metea Valley defeats West Chicago

March 27, 2025: West Chicago, IL 60185

The Metea Valley Mustangs baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host West Chicago Wildcats to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Romeoville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Metea Valley will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, West Chicago drops to 0-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Geneva (Geneva, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, March 28. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-1. Geneva won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL)
