The Okemah Panthers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Wewoka Tigers to 3 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mounds for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Okemah will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Haskell (Haskell, OK). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Wewoka drops to 0-7 on the year. The Tigers host Butner (Cromwell, OK) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, March 28. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-3.
