North Carolina High School Volleyball - Butler bounced by Covenant Day

Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they observed their volleyball team top the host Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), 3-0 in a non-league contest.

The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Union Academy notched a victory over Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 29. Butler will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 league win over R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC).
