The Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) volleyball knocked off the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ironwood for a 5A Northwest Valley bout on Tuesday, April 1. Kellis will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Independence (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Mountain Pointe drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Pride host Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to clash with the Coyotes in a 5A East Sky bout on Monday, April 7. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 9-5.
