The Verrado Vipers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting San Luis Sidewinders to 6 in the Vipers non-league win on Thursday.

The Vipers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tolleson for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Verrado will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 14-3 league win over Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, San Luis drops to 0-5 on the year. The Sidewinders host Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Knights go into the test with a record of 4-3.
