In Thursday's league outing, the host Coastal Christian Centurions soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Wayne Christian Eagles.
The Centurions (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Hurricanes go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Cape Fear Academy prevailed over John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC), 5-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals (Goldsboro, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 28. Wayne Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Generals go into the outing with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC).
