The Don Bosco Prep Ironmen baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Iona Prep Gaels to 1 in the Ironmen non-league win on Thursday.

The Ironmen now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaminade for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26.

With the defeat, Iona Prep drops to 0-1 on the year. The Gaels travel to Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Lions go into the test with a record of 2-1. Monsignor Farrell won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY)
