In Thursday's non-league bout, the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), by a tally of 14-2.
Next up, the Golden Knights encounter the Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Sussex Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE).
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Caravel (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.
