The Boardman Spartans the host Solon Comets lacrosse team by a tally of 7-3 in Thursday's non-league match.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Southeast Pirates (Ravenna, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 29. Boardman will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 14-2 league loss to Canfield (Canfield, OH).
The Comets (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Highland (Medina, OH). The Hornets come into the Region 5 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Highland was overwhelmed by Wooster (Wooster, OH), 11-3, in a non-league match.
