The Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) lacrosse routed the visiting Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA), 9-4 in Thursday's league outing.
The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walker for a 1A Area 1 outing on Tuesday, April 1. Darlington will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 14-12 non-league win over East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Kell falls to 5-7 on the year. The Longhorns host Sprayberry (Marietta, GA) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 2. The Yellow Jackets go into the outing with a record of 0-6. Sprayberry lost 1-0 in their recent league outing against Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA)
