The Providence Catholic Celtics triumphed over the host Marmion Cadets lacrosse team by a tally of 14-6 in Thursday's league match.
Next up, the Celtics confront the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 8. Providence Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Cadets (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Geneva was overwhelmed by South Elgin (South Elgin, IL), 10-2, in a non-league match.
