The Sewickley Academy triumphed over the host The Linsly School Cadets lacrosse team by a tally of 11-5 in Thursday's non-league match.

Next up, the confront the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 match, on Thursday, May 1. Sewickley Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Cadets (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Polar Bears enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Fairmont Senior got by Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 17-5, in a non-league match.
