Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Chimacum Cowboys (Chimacum, WA), 9-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Vashon Island moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Nisqually test on Tuesday, April 8. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-0. Cascade Christian won 9-1 in their recent league test against Life Christian Academy (Tacoma, WA)

The Cowboys now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Klahowya for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Chimacum will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
