Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), saw Salem's soccer squad knock off Denbigh by a count of 2-0.

The Sundevils (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA). The Stallions enter the Beach battle with a 0-1 record.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) in a Peninsula battle, on Tuesday, April 1. Denbigh will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Dukes enter the battle with a 5-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Poquoson (Poquoson, VA).
