Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) and the visiting Lakeview Vikings (Columbus, NE), saw Northwest's soccer squad prevail over Lakeview by a count of 5-1.

The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE). The Bearcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Scottsbluff tipped South (Cheyenne, WY), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
