California High School Softball - Mt. Diablo bested by Albany

The Albany Cougars triumphed over the visiting Mt. Diablo Red Devils softball squad by a count of 24-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) in a Tri-County - Rock challenge, on Wednesday, April 2. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.

The Red Devils (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Swett (Crockett, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Swett overcame Emery (Emeryville, CA), 16-3, in a non-league challenge.
