The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) and the host Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL), observed Triad's softball team get by Belleville East by a tally of 11-4.

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Belleville West tipped Columbia (Columbia, IL), 13-12, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 28. Belleville East will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
