The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) and the visiting San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Benson's softball team defeat San Miguel by a margin of 22-1.

The Bobcats now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apache Junction for a non-league outing on Monday, March 31. Benson will encounter a Prospectors team coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ). The Prospectors record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, San Miguel moves to 0-6 on the season. The Vipers host Phoenix Christian (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 29. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 8-1. Phoenix Christian won 30-0 in their recent non-league outing against Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
