The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Bethel Bees (Tipp City, OH) and the visiting Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY), observed Bethel's softball team notch a victory over Paintsville by a tally of 10-2.

The Bees (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Riverside (De Graff, OH). The Pirates go into the Three Rivers bout with a 6-2 record.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) in a District 57 bout, on Monday, March 31. Paintsville will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 15-0 league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY).
