The Caesar Rodney Riders overwhelmed the visiting Dover Senators softball squad by a count of 28-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Riders meet the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 29. Caesar Rodney will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 4-3 league loss to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE).
The Senators (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Ravens go into the Henlopen North challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sussex Tech was routed by Polytech (Woodside, DE), 11-9, in a league challenge.
