Pennsylvania High School Softball - Cambria Heights held off by Purchase Line

March 27, 2025: Commodore, PA 15729

In Thursday's league test, the Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) softball squad got by the visiting Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA), by a tally of 6-5.

Next, the Red Dragons clash with the Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 28. Purchase Line will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 16-3 league loss to Ferndale (Johnstown, PA).

The Highlanders (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Moshannon Valley was nudged by Curwensville (Curwensville, PA), 10-0, in a league test.
