New Mexico High School Softball - Cibola bounces Valencia

The Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) softball routed the visiting Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 11-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hobbs for a non-league outing on Friday, March 28. Cibola will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Valencia moves to 3-7 on the season. The Jaguars host Grants (Grants, NM) to encounter the Pirates in a 4A District 5 outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 3-5. Grants lost 10-0 in their recent non-league outing against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
