The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL) and the visiting Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN), observed Sardis's softball team notch a victory over Connersville by a tally of 11-3.

The Lions (15-8) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 18-4 record. In their last bout, Pleasant Valley was routed by Alexandria (Alexandria, AL), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 27. Connersville will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Farmers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Limestone (Bartonville, IL).
